OVER COCKTAILS!
Artist Statement
With this painting "Man with Breakfast", I like to explore first impressions by questioning the assumptions created about a person based on factors including their actions, clothing, accessories, hairstyles, and surroundings. It relates to the theme "Over Drinks!", because of the festive cocktail the man drinks with his breakfast. We assume it's a cocktail because of the paper umbrella, but maybe that's just an impression as well.
