OVER COCKTAILS!

Artist Statement

"Anima Persona" crashes inner spirit with outer shininess. Am I pretty or ugly? The masks and adornments of our outer facades, complete with the chipped rough flaws.

I love psychologically charged sci-fi films, elevating female archetypes, the surreal and the ambiguous in art and life. We change locations and themes with each shoot but always aim to capture moments evoking energy, actions, tensions, emotions or mystery. They are specific in how they are put together but open to interpretation.

"After Party" was shot during the second year of the pandemic when we could NOT meet for drinks at parties or gatherings. The photos depict a dream or fantasy of 'what if...' we could meet. What would it look like? What happened before this moment is anyone's guess
