About the Artist
Dimitra Skandali is a Greek artist whose practice revolves around the intersection of nature, memory, and place. She often works with organic materials, such as seaweed, to create delicate installations that evoke her deep connection to the environment, particularly the Aegean Sea, where she grew up. Skandali explores themes of displacement, the fragile relationship between humans and nature, and the concept of home. Her work, both minimalistic and immersive, invites viewers to reflect on their own relationships with their surroundings and the transient nature of existence.
