Forage: Ocean group exhibition invites artists to explore the intricate relationship between humans and the sea through the act of foraging. Artists have drawn inspiration from items found along shorelines or submerged beneath the waves, transforming both organic and non-organic materials—natural driftwood, seaweed, plastic remnants, and synthetic waste—into powerful works of art.
This exhibition seeks to uncover the hidden stories these materials hold, asking: How do the remnants of our world mingle with the currents of the sea? Forage: Ocean challenges artists to rethink value, form, and function, creating works that reflect the tension between nature and human impact on marine ecosystems.
